TICS, NICS and Constitutional Sheriffs

Royce Season 11 Episode 697

Send us a text

Royce unveils the many infringements that are built into the background check system, especially in States that interpose themselves between gun retailers and the free NICS system and charge a fee to do what dealers could do without charge (like FL and TN do, among others).

Also, it's refreshing to see and hear law enforcement officials openly declare they will not enforce new infringements recently passed in Washington State.

Royce also addresses the recent murder of an open carrier in Las Vega by a deranged man who took his openly carried pistol and shot him with it.

a message from a listener that told me basically you sound very hateful towards a
particular government agency and you come across as a little antagonistic and anti
-government. I was also told that I sound like some sort of an agitator.
Maybe I am. I want people agitated against tyranny, and against all infringements of
their God -given, blood -bought rights. I will say this again, I view our rights as
tangible property. They were purchased with blood. So for someone to violate my
rights, I take heavy offense at that, number one, because of all the lives that
have been sacrificed and all the life and limb on distant fields to preserve those
rights. So yes, I've got a huge problem. Anytime somebody tries to deny me my
rights, I get a little bit fightin' mad, and I have every right to. Those rights
are vital. And when somebody tries to infringe those rights, they may as well walk
through one of our national cemeteries and piss on all the graves of our fallen
there, because that's the extent of the insult that they're proffering when they do
that. Yes, I am very antagonistic towards the ATF because of what they are and what
they do because of their actions and because of the fact that they shift with
political wins and they have no moral compass, they have no constitutional
sensibility, they have no grasp of the Second Amendment and if they did,
they would disband their agency on their own. They wouldn't wait around for a law
to come along and disband it. They would say we cannot, with good conscience,
with a good constitutional conscience, continue to violate the rights of the
citizenry. We took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution and yet our very
existence as an agency is an ever -present, daily infringement against those rights
and we cannot any longer be fulfilled this office. That's what they should do.
So yes, I have a huge problem with the ATF and I'm sorry if you don't like that,
but I have every right in the world to call them out for the murderous swine that
they are because they have proven themselves to be such And in spite of their self
-reform, which we talked about in the last episode, don't you count on that.
Don't count on somebody to reform themselves. Usually it takes a good punch in the
mouth to do that. The agency needs to be shut down, plain and simple. So if you
don't like my antagonistic stance towards the ATF, well, there's plenty of other
podcasts to listen to. I'm not trying to be a jerk. I'd love to have you as a
listener. If you really want to be objective and think through the issues, if not,
I'm sorry, I couldn't care less. All right. Um,
well, I, you know, here, again, let me just finish this thought cause I was going
to move on, but no, I want to finish this as an American patriot. It's my duty to
warn people about totalitarians and all the tyrannies that have become interwoven into
our government and they're perpetuated against us against we the people by our
government. I have every right to speak up about this because we've become too
comfortable with tyranny. Too many of them and so many of them have been inflicted
upon us that we become comfortable with it. We expect it and in every new
infringement that comes along we sit there and pout and whine, oh there's another
infringement. I'm tired of whining about it. I don't know about you. I'm all for
standing up and pointing our fingers at every agency involved in every state
government and our federal government and telling them you are trying to kick the
bear and you are attempting to start a civil war here in this country,
and you are assaulting the security of our free state in so doing. Though I'm tired
of us being comfortable with infringement, and that's why I do what I do. We have
a civilian disarmament epidemic in this country, and the symptoms are rising violent
crime, and government tyranny upon the If you want to see examples of that,
look no further than New York City. Look no further than Chicago. Look no further
than New Jersey and all the other states that have effectively disarmed their
citizenry. We went from being able to order Thompson submachine guns in the mail to
being forced to have a background check run on American citizens just to buy a box
of freaking ammo. They got to get permission slips from their government just to buy
a gun and another permission slip just to carry it and then have that right
restricted even further by creating gun -free zones all over some states for the
express purpose of infringing on the American people's rights. Now this also includes
various background check systems and I'm going to segue into our main topic here,
our first topic, various background check systems established throughout the entire
country in multiple states, as well as the federal government and the federal
national instant check system. At most of you regular listeners have heard me talk
about my annoyances with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement here in my home
state. They have interposed themselves between retailers and the free national instant
check system. So now they charge us $5 a pop. First, they passed a law that said
retailers in Florida cannot go directly to the national instant check system,
that free system. No, they said you have to go through us to get to that system
and pay us five bucks to do essentially what you'd be doing in the first place and
so now what you're doing is you're essentially paying the state of Florida and not
only that there's other states too we'll talk about here in a minute like Tennessee
but we're effectively paying the state of Florida to investigate us every time we
purchase a firearm that's essentially what we're doing we're paying them to do that.
This automatically transforms all gun retailers within the state into de facto fee
collectors for the state, and that has engendered excessive delays here.
Some of them three to five hours, and we get these little notices where I work.
Due to heavy volume, background chests can take as as three hours and sometimes four
and a half and five hours even. That's unacceptable. I'm not sure what your problem
is, FDLE, but if it's a problem of manpower, y 'all are hauling in quite a lot of
coin, close to seven million dollars a year just on gun sale background checks.
So why cannot you hire more investigators, more examiners to do these background
checks. Why can you not do that? I already know the answer. That money's going
somewhere, and we need to find out where, but this is also engendered false denials.
A lot of people denied. Some of these guys had been police officers. We just had a
cop come into our shop trying to buy back his service weapon when we did a trade
in between many agencies and ourselves and a cop got denied because his name
approximated that of another person and they couldn't be bothered to dig a little
bit deeper. He even used his social security number which did not match the person's
name that approximated his. So this can happen to anybody.
Not only that, we get these maintenance delays and we've lost entire days to this.
Yes, literally we were unable to sell a firearm because the background sex system
was down for maintenance for an entire day and into the next day. No retailer gets
reimbursed for these losses because according to the state's logic,
to not run a background check could impact that elusive unicorn known as public
safety and everybody with a good communist indoctrination knows that public safety
trumps individual rights and the free exercise thereof every time don't we? Yeah.
So a simple maintenance delay of a full day literally delays,
which means infringes the rights of all Florida citizens who are eligible to purchase
firearms and it infringes the rights of the retailers too.
Florida is not the only state where these firearms retailers and the citizens have
to go through this. Having our rights essentially suspended by the state due to
electronics issues. It turns out, like I said earlier, Tennessee has quite a bit of
issues with this same thing. What this means to me is no states should interpose
them. You're going to force us to go through background checks and go through a
background check system known as NICS, which has a 95 to 98 percent false positive
rate. Then why should we have to go through two entities for that same background
check. Now in Tennessee recently, the Tennessee instant check system was down for
several days. And I'll be referencing an article by one, Jessica Barker,
the Tennessee instant check system was down for days. And this costs a lot of
retailers, gun store owners across their state valuable income and retail.
It's the state's fault. Now, let me tell you something right now. You, the state,
whether it's here in Florida or in Tennessee, if you are going to force people to
be under your boot and you say, if you run this to us, we will make sure to have
these back to you in a timely fashion, then you had better do whatever is necessary
to make sure you have the means, the personnel and the equipment to facilitate this
and it needs to happen yesterday, but yet y 'all still have these issues with your
freaking systems. Here's the article by Ms. Jessica Barker titled "Gun Shops Across
the State Lose Revenue as TBI Troubleshoots Firearm Background Check System Outage."
The firearm purchase login pays for Tennessee's flex check which is the system used
across the volunteer state displayed an error message stating we are currently unable
to run background checks we are working quickly to resolve this please check your
emails for more information and updates isn't that nice that's a that's a That's the
state's way of saying your rights are temporarily suspended until we can work this
out. Oh, come on, Roy says not. I don't care if that's what they're actually saying
or not. That is certainly implied here. You can't tell me it's not,
especially when the implications are your rights are suspended until the background
check system is back up and working and we grant you are also gracious and
magnanimous permission to freely exercise your right to purchase a firearm.
Yes, you have the right to purchase a firearm. If you have the right to keep
firearms, you have the right to acquire firearms, and that's either through trade,
barter, or cash. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation,
which helps oversee the system, told News2 that the agency had been troubleshooting
an outage. The TBI, that's funny how that coincides with traumatic brain injury,
said that the outage was related to a "planned system change" from the agency's
vendor, which was outside of the organization's control. Oh, there it is.
Your plausible deniability. It's their fault. It's the vendor's fault. You can't come
after us. It's the vendor's fault. You, the state of Tennessee,
the TBI, and the Tennessee Instant Check System, which has a very interesting
acronym,
you are responsible for fulfilling your duties. If you have taken upon yourself this
responsibility, then it is dad gum stinking well, your job.
To see it through and to make sure that all of this is functioning properly and
when it is supposed to function properly. You can't give me, oh, it was a planned
system change. Well, you should have planned it around non -business hours. Well,
it's the vendor's fault. I don't care. It's your fault ultimately because you hired
the vendor Apparently, you don't understand the chain of responsibility
The vendor told the TBI that they were working as quickly as possible to resolve
the issue It was tentatively restored around midnight Friday. How gracious gracious of
you. Oh, y 'all have your rights back. The system's working. Our apparatus of tyranny
and gun control and control over the free exercise of your rights is working
properly again now, and it's functioning up in Adam. Oh, come on back and pay us
the money to infringe your right even further. Okay. Philip Errington, who owns
Goodlitzville gun shop and has been in the business for about 30 years. Listen to
this told news too, that the store had experienced about five or six outages so far
this year. 2025 people, we're just now going into June.
We're not even through the halfway point of the year. And this man has had to go
through six different outages, at least one per month, if you're really touting it
out that way, all of them lasting for more than 24 hours. Let that sink in.
That means the state can and will and does infringe the rights of their people
directly and indirectly through the background check system you've missed with with
its funny little acronym TIX. Yeah, that's very, I'll talk you more about that in a
minute. The outages, this recent outage lasted for about three days.
So essentially Tennessee residents were forced by a computer outage to accept flagrant
infringements upon their right to acquire arms yet the free responsible exercise of
their rights the Tennessee state is saying is absolutely dependent upon the ability
of the state to keep their system running smoothly and of course any vendors they
have brought into the mix so this right now is contingent upon approval from ticks
and nicks, the very appropriate, doing their jobs efficiently.
Now to me, this is absolutely unacceptable because it's proof that no state should
ever, ever have been granted the authority to dispense the rights of the citizens
back to them via licensing or permission. And yes,
I'm going to go ahead and throw this bone out here too. Background check fees are
in the very purest sense, a licensing fee.
Oh, you don't believe me? Oh, don't pay it. Say I'm not paying that fee. You know
what they'll say? Well, then you don't get a background check and you don't get a
gun. People, that's licensing. It's a temporary license,
but it is a license because they will refuse to allow you to exercise your right
to acquire a firearm if you don't pay it. People, that's a license whether you like
it or not. Not only that, it violates the gun rights, I'm sorry, it violates the
rights of gun retailers to conduct their business. They are also required to wait
until the state has granted permission to their customer before they can then make
the sale. So their right to free commerce is also impacted by this.
Mr. Arrington of Goodlitz Guns, Goodlitzville's gun said, is getting to the point
where we can't tell customers, yeah, we'll get your background check right back as
an instant check. It's no longer an instant check because there's no pattern to when
it's going to be Reliable. The TBI told News 2 that in 2024,
TICS had been fully operational 99 .46 % of the time and is only closed on 4th of
July, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. But of course, they did not provide any
outreach statistics for this year. Oh, how convenient. Well,
why not? Why would you not do that? Of course, they all they want everything to
appear to be oh Just going so smoothly. They don't want to appear in a bad light
Because if they're proven to be incompetent on dispensing our rights, we might just
have something to say about that and they don't want that They know No firearms
could be sold in the state of Tennessee due to the outage, Arrington said, so nor
could firearms be taken in on consignment or any of them even pond. Some customers
had been unhappy and even angry as a result of the outage. Well, justifiably so.
I'd be angry too. I wouldn't be angry at the gun store. I'd be angry at the
bloody state. Mr. Arrington said we've lost quite a bit of money, but nothing
compared to what some of the bigger stores have lost, we have nothing to tell our
customers. It basically stops everything we're doing. There's no sense in even
advertising because we can't sell anything. Now think about this. This is the end
result of the state infringing the rights of its people under color of law,
a direct violation of 18 U .S. code 242. So this is evidence that the infringements
of our rights have real world consequences for not only the citizenry but also
legitimate businesses but not only that other unintended consequences include the all
these other systems and government systems being shut down like The,
what is it, I forgot what it was, is one system, the NCIC, the National Crime
Information Center was also, a lot of the agencies in Tennessee lost access to the
NCIC as a result of the outage. So wow, isn't that nice?
That means the law enforcement agencies utilizing the NCIC system to input information
about missing children and other crimes and criminals and fugitives and such,
that was impacted. Another unintended consequence of government infringement. How about
that? So in their desire, in their haste to control the free exercise of the rights
of the people, not only are the people's rights infringed, but some actual real
threats to public safety, like a missing child situation or dangerous fugitive
situation or other such menaces to society, they become all the more enabled.
Well this tells me that the only inescapable and reasonable conclusion one could come
to is that gun control in the infringements of our rights does nothing but encourage
and what should I say even enable the criminal element while infringing the rights
of the peaceable element to truly acquire and keep and bear arms.
That my friends is one of my biggest gripes with any background check system much
less when a state decides to interpose themselves between the retailers in one state
and the NICS system and they become their own little tick and attach themselves to
the industry and suck it dry five bucks at a time like here in Florida millions of
dollars being taken in just for the state to grant us permission to freely exercise
our blood -bought God -given rights. We'll be right back with more shooting straight.

first portion we were listening to Royce's pet peeve or one of his many pet peeves
background checks people Royce what do you got against a background check it keeps
bad people from getting guns no it sure as heck doesn't want proof bad people still
get guns there you go yeah bad people still shooting people in Washington state and
Oregon and California and Chicago, New York City, they still get their guns but for
some reason the innocent, peaceable citizens who pay taxes don't get to defend
themselves with their guns if they're allowed to have one at all. So yeah I got a
big problem with that. I've said before that one way to help curb or hold back all
this gun control crap is if law enforcement stood with the people.
That's what needs to happen. Law enforcement in Tennessee in their TBI and TICS,
they don't stand with the people. They stand with the state. That's why I think
county law enforcement officials are probably far more Contitutional Minded I should
say then the state police now. I'm not picking on cops in the state police Just
just just don't let your brain run to ridiculous hyperbolic Conclusions whenever I
say something
This there's a Washington sheriff and you've heard about all the Idiotic moronic laws
being signed into effect there and none of them, as we all know, will inhibit
violent crime. The people proffering these bills and laws know good and well. They
have nothing to do with inhibiting violent crime. They all have to do with
inhibiting the free exercise of the innocent, peaceable citizens of the state from
keeping and bearing arms. Now, there's a Washington sheriff that is refusing to
enforce Washington's new gun permit law. And here's an article from source one news
staff from May 27th and sheriff Keith,
let's see what's his name. Keith Swank said flat out that the law is
unconstitutional and the Pierce County Sheriff's office will not enforce it.
Join me and fight for your rights. And that was a post on X. Oh man,
I tell you, I believe we have a sheriff like that here in Brevard County, Florida,
Sheriff Wayne Ivy. He is a second amendment proponent. He does want open carry here
in Florida. He does not side with the large portion of the sheriffs here in the
state because he stands in direct opposition to their not so constitutional ideas,
I should say, but But this sheriff has said we're not gonna do it. Well, I'm not
gonna enforce it now. See, here's the thing law enforcement They're the teeth of the
law of any law. It's the enforcement of the law that gives it power The ink on
the paper doesn't mean crap. It's the enforcement behind it Might I also flip that
around to a constitutional sense and say that our rights encoded and into national
law in the supreme law, uh, have no teeth unless we enforce them.
Just chew on that for a while. But here's the article, a sweeping new gun control
law set to take effect in Washington state in 2027 will require residents to obtain
a permit and complete live fire training before purchasing a firearm. Uh, how are
they going to nod? I don't want to take that rabbit trail. Stand stand by, but
Pierce County Sheriff Keith Swank said his office will not enforce it and this was
his comment. As the elected sheriff of Pierce County, I am committed to addressing
serious criminal activity to ensure the safety of our community and uphold the
constitutional rights of all citizens. Recent state firearm regulations affecting
licensed arms dealers and introducing additional permit requirements for firearm
purchases beyond the state's existing enhanced background checks,
raise concerns regarding their alignment with constitutional rights. Hallelujah.
Glory to God and shame on the devil and thank God for a sheriff's swank.
Now the article continues under house bill 1163, residents must provide fingerprints,
undergo a detailed background check,
and complete a state certified firearm safety course that includes live fire
exercises. Applicants will be required to demonstrate proficiency at a gun range with
concealed carry training mandating a minimum of 50 rounds fired during instruction.
Swank voiced concern over the constitutionality of the law comparing it to other
controversial state policies. And he said, many of these new laws are on uncertain
legal footing and venture into uncharted territory, much like the state's new quote
quote, sanctuary policies. And yes, Washington State is allegedly a sanctuary state
for illegal invaders. And for that reason alone, they should have their state charter
revoked. I'll leave that right there. He added to be clear, the Pierce County
Sheriff's Office will not engage in enforcing politically motivated mandates.
And that's that's exactly what all gun control laws are. Instead, he said,
we will continue to prioritize enforcement efforts of criminal activities that pose
significant threats to public safety. The PCSO is dedicated to serving our community
with integrity, ensuring that our actions reflect both the letter and spirit of our
laws and Constitution. I like that a a lot. Like he said,
we're going to prioritize enforcement on criminal activities that actually pose a
significant threat to public safety, not to innocent, peaceable citizens who are
simply exercising a right they were born with. Good on this sheriff. Good. Democratic
lawmakers backing the measure argue that it will reduce gun violence and suicides.
really? We'll prove your assertions with working historical models because there's
plenty of other states that have this same kind of crap and let's see how their
violent crime rate has gone through the roof. That's where it's gone.
In any state with heavy gun control has the highest violent crime rates,
not to mention The highest rates of law enforcement, what should I say,
not deadly force, excessive force. Yes, that's a study I've been working on for a
couple of years now, and my hypothesis is proving true. When I finally have it all
done, I'm going to bring it out on this program. But gun control only engenders the
strengthening of the state and the criminal element. That's all it does and that's
all it ever will do because it does not enhance public safety. It actually impacts
it negatively. The article continues. However, Republican leaders and Second Amendment
advocates claim the law violates constitutional rights with legal challenges expected
to follow and good because they should. The new permitting system marks a significant
expansion of Washington's firearm regulations, it also enhanced,
it also marks a significant expansion of Washington state's power that they wrestled
from the people. Yeah, through their tyrannical treasonous aggression against their
citizens, building upon the state's existing background check requirements and placing
additional conditions on gun ownership. And by the way, those are conditions that
they have zero constitutional authority to enact. And yet we've been putting up with
it and putting up with it and putting up with it in multiple states throughout the
union. This is why I speak out against gun control even when it doesn't affect me.
Because when it affects any of my fellow citizens, it's only a matter of time
before it does affect me. And I will stand with any citizen of any state against
any gun control law that's proposed against them. Because if we don't stand up for
each other, even when we don't know each other or even don't like each other, if
we don't stand up for our rights, it's only a matter of time before our rights are
abused just like them. So Keep that in mind. This is the whole impetus behind me,
and I'm not even sure I used the right word, but that's the motivation for me on
every one of these programs is to point out tyranny, rip its mask off,
show how bloody ugly it is, and hopefully bring, engender the same abhorrence for it
that lies in my heart and the same hatred that lies in my heart for all forms of
tyranny. That's just, that's the motivation here in my program.
Okay. Now let's end the program with one last incident that recently took place that
a lot of people are trying to say, see open carry should never be allowed in any
state because of what happened here, because some of you have heard that at an auto
zone in Las Vegas, an open carrier had his gun taken from him and he was killed
with it. Now, automatically, people say, "Well, say this is why we should never,
because of one incident, we should never allow anybody to open carry." Now,
my thoughts on that, I prefer concealed carry. I do. I think it gives me a
tactical advantage. But then again, no matter where I'm at, I'm always watching
people entering and exiting wherever I am. I've got my head on a swivel.
People may not realize I'm watching them, but I am certainly watching them. I look
at anybody that can be a potential threat and they are a threat in my mind until
I say, okay, you're not a threat. Oh Royce, that's that that's living paranoid.
Nope. That's living prepared. I don't care what you call it. This is what I call
it. So, uh, uh, a guy named Kyle Kapuchi,
age 36 is now facing an open murder charge because he sees the man's firearm and
killed him with it. Now, people stated that the man, the perpetrator,
Mr. Kapuchi, who, by the way, is a homeless guy and transient from one place to
another. They said he was acting erratically before the shooting.
In other words, he was exhibiting potential pre -assault indicators. Mr.
Open Carry, the victim there should never have allowed the man to leave his view.
Now I'm not picking on the victim and saying he did something wrong and it's his
own fault. It's all, It always lies at the feet of the perpetrator, not the
innocent victim. The carrier was violating no law and he was in a place where he
had a right to be. The other guy did not have a right to do what he did to his
victim. Now, some people say, well, this is gonna reignite the debate over open
carry laws in Nevada. You wanna have an open debate? You contact me,
I'll invite you onto my program, okay? But let me give you Royce's two cents on
this. Okay, if you're gonna open carry, God bless you. Thank you for freely
exercising your right and doing it boldly. But I might recommend that you look into
a level three retention holster like police officers wear and they wear them for a
darn good reason because some of them have had their guns taken from them and
killed by their own guns. So I think they set a pretty good standard concerning
what type of holsters we should carry. And that would be me. I have level three
holsters. If I was gonna open carry, it would be in one of them. But not only
that, I train in weapons retention. And if you're gonna open carry, I think you
should too. Also, I don't allow anybody inside my immediate perimeter.
I've got my immediate perimeter, I've got these my secondary perimeter and I've got
a tertiary perimeter and I'm always assessing everything within those three areas
almost subconsciously and I think you should get to that point too.
Don't allow anybody especially people that are giving off bad indications if they're
acting erratically. If you're acting erratically as far as I'm concerned, you are a
potential threat, and now you have my undivided attention, okay?
You, also, if I'm wearing a whole, if I'm wearing something openly, and even in my
classes where I'm wearing, openly wearing my Glock 19 and two spare mags on my
opposing side, even when I'm around trainees, my arm stays in a particular position
so that if anybody were to try to grab my firearm, and I don't think they would,
but why would you not just be safe rather than sorry, I practice whenever someone's
close to my strong side of blocking that firearm and having a plan to break that
person's arm or wrist if they should try to reach for it. That's just how I do
things. I mean, you should too, I think. So if someone's behaving erratically, you
don't let them out of your sight. You don't allow them even anywhere near your
perimeter. And if I have to stand at an angle with my back to the cashier when
I'm cashing out so I can see this person, I'll do it. And if they come within, if
they come close to me, I'm gonna and then very loudly to back up because they're
walking into a danger zone. Oh, come on. I don't want to hurt their feelings,
Royce. Your feelings are secondary compared to my safety. Sorry, that's just the way
it is. Your feelings don't mean crap to me because my safety is far more important.
You know, endangering my safety and endangering your feelings, they don't compare,
Okay? Well, I don't want to make him angry. Well, his emotional state at that point
should be absolutely irrelevant to you And the only thing immediately relevant is
your safety and your family's safety And as I've said here many times before
defending yourself is defending your family You are part of it and you are an
indispensable part of with a part of it. I'm tripping over my tongue here now
you're an indispensable part of your family. They cannot afford to do without you.
So defending yourself is defending your family. That's just what, that's the bottom
line. So if you want me to break this down for you in simple terms of my limited
assessment, it means when people say, well, what does this mean for open carry?
Well, first of all, let's look at the incident. And What this incident bears out is
that the victim's situational awareness was insufficient. He did not view this person
correctly, and this person caused his demise. It also means that he had not been
trained in weapon retention. If you're going to open carry where few other people
are open carrying, then this is invaluable training that you must have. That also
means you should train and handgun disarms because you may have to disarm the
perpetrator who took your gun. Think about that. Learn how to disarm somebody else
of a handgun because if you're in a tight close quarter wrestling match over a
handgun, there's a very good chance that you could come out on top. If you know
what to do. Matter of fact, there's a very good chance that you will come out on
top. I know of a couple of various weapons disarms. If you want me to show them
to you sometime, shoot me up. Hey Royce, next time you're in such and such a town,
look me up and show me that weapons disarm. I'd be glad to. Not only this, I want
you to think about this other thing. What if other people had also been open
carrying around him? You think he'd have tried that? No, there was one person open
carrying and I'm not blaming it on everybody else say well, they should have been
open carrying That's not what I'm saying. I'm just saying if open carry was Did not
have the stigma attached to it that it does and there were more people openly
carrying firearms I think there would be fewer bad guys in that area You want you
want proof of that? Okay, what if there had been instead of let's say 10 people
there, one of them carrying a gun, there have been 10 cops there, all of them
carrying guns. You think stupid, you think this man would have done something stupid
there? You think he'd have tried to disarm one of those cops? Nope, he would not.
Why? Because at a minimum, he'd probably get about four or five sets of taser
prongs embedded in his posterior end, light him up like a Christmas tree to where
he starts spitting out silver dollars and pinging like a pinball machine. And that's
what would happen at a minimum, at a maximum he'd have been ventilated like a
colander.
So there's a lot of takeaways from this about what he should have done, what he
could have done, what he might have done and all sorts of The bare minimum of this
is people, if you're going to open carry and you're in an open carry state,
hopefully you will impress upon others their need to open carry. But not only that,
if you are open carrying anywhere at any time, you should always be aware that you
could be disarmed and you better be trained to deal with it. That's the bottom
line. Now look, it's not like concealed carriers haven't had the same thing happened
to them because I remember reading a story on the air, I don't know about five to
seven years ago, where a concealed carrier made the faux pas of getting out of his
car and he wore center of back, small of back with his pistol and his shirt came
down behind the grip of his handgun and a bad guy saw that,
followed him into the bathroom and donkey punch him in the back of the head, took
his gun and left. So don't think it won't happen because you're concealed carrying.
You should always make sure that your gun, if you're going to conceal carry, make
sure your gun is not visible to potentially bad people, all right? Okay,
you keep that in mind and you stay in contact with your reps and you fight against
tyranny and infringements at every turn. You contact your state reps too and tell
them background check systems are an abomination and they are useless and make sure
incoming rounds always have the right of way. Royce out.
