And hopefully we'll attract some more hungry listeners to this program so that they can be educated about their Second Amendment right. Anyway, speaking of communist occupied territories, here's an article from The Daily Caller written by Bronson Winslow. And the title of it is "Oregon is prepared to institute one of the most extreme gun restrictions in the country". I don't know what it is about Oregon, other than the fact that they're way too close to California. And I think some of that weapons grade stupidity has ebbed its way north, you know, kind of like the same with Washington state. So they are about to, or they're going to try to pass measure 114 and Oregon voters are going to have to vote on this measure. Hopefully there's enough sensible Oregonians left up there in the state to shoot this thing down. And I don't just mean that proverbially. And no, I don't mean it literally like actually shooting things you know what I'm talking about. But to send this thing down in flames, that's where it needs to be. In the title of measure. 114 is an absolute farce. It's called the "reduction of gun violence act". How do you guys presume? Are you the author of this thing? And you that are proposing this thing, why do you presume that this will actually reduce gun violence or any kind of violence for that matter? Where are the studies that you actually delved into to bring out the necessary data, and I'm not talking about the skewed studies, I'm talking about real scientific studies, you know, the ones that y'all don't like, this is ridiculous. It is a farce. It's a ballot measure that is going to require background checks, firearm training, fingerprint collection, and a permit to purchase any firearm in a throwback to up sorry, Sergeant Spalding back to Illinois (Now he's from Indiana), Illinois will force you to get fingerprints to get a FOID card, a Firearm Owner IDentification card. And that's what they're going to start doing, or, if they vote it in, in Oregon. Oregon already requires background checks for gun owners, but now I guess they're going to doubly enforce it. And kind of like double secret probation, I guess, (throwback to Animal House, if some of you have ever seen it). And the new legislation is going to cost the victims thereof, and that will be the taxpayers, $49 million a year. And it's going to place, they're expecting it to be like 300,000 residents, on a gun owner database. In other words registration, a registry, according to an article from Fox News. And Oregon State Shooting Association president Kerry Spurgeon told Fox News he said"this is the most extreme gun control measure in the country, or at least one of the most extreme, it will virtually eliminate firearm sales in Oregon, as it is written." "The legislation" (I'm reading from the article) would require those who wish to own a firearm to complete a gun safety course regulated by the police. The measure would also restrict magazine capacity to 10 rounds." This is a familiar number. Yeah. Because the gun control cartels and all of their adherence pretty much prioritize this for years, have they not? "Well, we need to limit magazine capacity to 10 rounds", and that's gonna make a dent in violent crime somehow. Hmm. And yeah, how none of you that talk about shortening magazine capacity to 10 rounds have ever offered a solid answer as to why! Literally, one gun control cartel member, and that's how I refer to the commie mommies demand action and the Giffords and the Brady's and all that, one of them actually stated that a good reason for limiting magazine capacity is because so many gun deaths are suicides. Yeah, you're you're getting that right. Yeah. How many suicides committed with firearms are more than one shot? And no, I'm not making light of suicide at all. I have lost two friends to it. One of them sat on the railroad tracks and waited for the train to hit him. And the other one did herself in by inhaling carbon monoxide while sitting in her car in her closed up garage. I'm sure if they're intent on doing themselves in they don't need a bullet and they don't need a gun. So they especially don't need 10 rounds! But Deschutes County Sheriff Shane Nelson said in a video statement, he said "this measure will not make our community safer." Wait a minute, all of you communists out there, you Democrat communists, you love to quote law enforcement officers who, of course, support your opinions and views on gun control, or should I just call it what it is, on infringement. But now here's an officer, this is a sheriff. That's the highest level officer in the county. He's saying this will not make our community cipher. I think he knows what he's talking about. Especially since, again, y'all haven't offered any hard data saying, "This is why we think this will work." No, we know good and dadgum well, who you're aiming this at. And that's it, the law abiding citizens, don't lie! Don't try to obfuscate. Don't try to make it out to be anything than what it is, and that is more rank infringement. That will not stop violent crime. But it will certainly infringe the right to keep and bear arms, which makes it an act of treason. It also makes it a rank violation, not only of the Second Amendment and impeding and infringing the right of the people to keep and bear arms, which, you know, hinders the well regulated militia which is necessary to the security of a free state. It also violates the 14th amendment because you're passing laws that violate the rights of the people enumerated in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights in particular. You know, as I keep saying all the time. Yes, I'm gonna keep saying it because it's true. And the truth bears repeating because God knows the lies get repeated ad nauseam. So, yes, you keep pouring the truth out there. You keep repeating the truth, at least as much as they repeat the lies. Okay. So Mr. County Sheriff there, Shane Nelson, also, he said "it will put our communities at greater risk for violence, because it requires that every sheriff's office and police agency divert scarce public safety resources to background systems that all ready exist." Hmm. Now, again, I said this on the last program, don't you confuse malice for ignorance? Don't confuse malice for stupidity. These are not stupid people. They're not well-meaning people. These people are malicious. They are evil as crap. Make no mistake about it. This is not misguided efforts on their part. Now, the article continues that I'm reading from; "California maintains a similar database for owners of concealed carry permits yet, the reduction of gun violence Act aims to place all gun owners, not just concealed carriers, on a database, according to the legislation." You know what they're doing there. They're not just registering the guns, they're registering the people, which most registries are in the first place. I'm going to remind you that Adolf Hitler registered guns, and then he got rid of them. And then he registered people. And then,..... that's right. He got rid of them. So the article continues, "data on gun owners from the California data base was luked, luked, who, in June..... I don't know why I'm tripping over my tongue tonight was LEAKED in June and gun rights advocates have argued that a centralized gun database will lead to an abuse of power." You had dadgum well, better believe it. That's exactly what it's going to lead to, by the way, the fact that they're even considering this to put it on the ballot, and to try to pass this is an abuse of power in and of itself. You're welcome. Now, I said this stuff is aimed squarely at law abiding citizens they know it, we know it, you know it, everybody knows it, that it has the brain of a boiled cabbage, okay. If you have an IQ of a mole, then you can figure this out already. Because who are the people that will actually register for this, who will actually allow themselves to be placed on databases? It's first chapter in the book of DUH that the criminals are not going to line up to abide by these new rules and laws. So spare us the sanctimony, spare us the holiness that you are trying to exude here and claiming you want to try to keep people safe from gun violence, and that's what it does. That is a huge steaming pile of Brontosaurus crap!! Now, New Jersey is also, you know, they're,.. they've been in the news quite a lot lately. They are following swiftly on the heels of New York trying to counter the Bruen decision. They have been passing law after law after law just like New York, trying to create more "sensitive spaces",... "sensitive areas" that lawful citizens cannot go into and defend themselves with a firearm if necessary. So New Jersey's doing the same thing. And there's one particular Democrat communists in New Jersey, who flat out admits that his legislation is aimed squarely at lawful citizens. You can't make this up. I mean, you could, but wow, you'd have a heck of an imagination because he's actually admitting it. I'm gonna tell you about that when we come back. I told you there was a man in New Jersey, a legislator, a Democrat communist who flat out admits that his legislation is aimed squarely at lawful citizens. These are his exact words. His name is Joe Danielson. Now, here it is verbatim, (as I said, I copied and pasted this, I did not write it out myself. I didn't do anything other than take exactly what he said, when he said it, how he said it from the internet. These are his words)."I'm proud to share with you that legislation A-4769, which I am a proud sponsor of has been passed through the Assembly Judiciary Committee, and is now referred to the Assembly Appropriations Committee. A-4769 creates new disqualifications from the permit process, such as past violations of restraining orders, domestic violence convictions or those experiencing mental health crises." (Royce comments) I got news for you. Those are already disqualifiers in New Jersey. Oh, because well, yeah, but he put he's put this on steroids a little bit. Let's read on."Another important component of this legislation is that it prohibits permit holders from carrying handguns in sensitive areas." (Royce comments) Okay. Right there, there is a, you know, an implied admission that he's aiming this at law abiding people, as we read on, "from carrying handguns in sensitive areas, with categories including schools, government buildings, polling places, bars and restaurants, theaters, sporting arenas, airports, casinos, and childcare facilities." Okay. Just curious, want to throw this out here, Mr. Danielson? Why, if you don't fear, a concealed carrier doing anything evil, for lack of a better word, with their firearm anywhere else, why is it that you think they're gonna do something bad with their gun in the aforementioned places? You don't have to answer, I already know your motive. He said "this historic legislation ensures New Jersey will have common sense gun safety laws." Are you tired of hearing that term too? "I figured that will keep our residents safe." Safe from whom? Lawful concealed carriers who are not the problem, never have been and never will be? (Article continues) "The last thing I want to say to people and some of my own Democrats have come... and some of my own Democrats have committed to me or a or commented that to me, that this does nothing to stop the illegal gun trade or the illegal criminal illegal possessions or criminal content. And you're right, this doesn't. It was never supposed to address that." Okay, you caught that right? And you catch that? Okay, here's the bold, blazing admission, listen to these words. Because for once a Democrat communist is telling you the truth. "This is addressing the legal, law abiding, responsible citizens, that's what it's designed to do." Again, for the third program in a row, I am gobsmacked, (a.) that a Democrat communist actually told the truth, (b.) was ballsy enough to do it in this fashion! Let me read that again. "This legislation is addressing the legal law abiding, responsible citizens, that's what it's designed to do." If you had any question or doubt about their motives heretofore, I think that's been erased here and right now on this program. Wow! Thank you Mr. Danielson for finally being honest and speaking the truth about what you Democrat communists are really all about, your legislation is all about, and what you're trying to do! But your legislation, like you just said, sir, won't do a dadgum cotton-pickin-stinking thing to address gun violence! Yeah. And people that are caught in gun violence, you know what happens to them? They're turned into pawns. They're turned into props for anti-gun crusaders like Mr. Danielson and the"commie mommies demand" and the Giffords and the Brady's and everything else. And that's what happened,... I told you before, I mean, how many times have I told you before for that matter, that the infringement cartels really don't want to stop spree shootings because they need a steady supply of victims to use as pawns and props for their disarmament crusade? I mean, let's face it, if the Democrat communists really cared as much about dead spree shooting victims, as they did about Paul Pelosi, or about their own safety, you know, they surround themselves with armed guards, there would be a ring of armed guards around every school in America by seven o'clock tomorrow morning before the bell rings, but they're not interested in that. No, they want to turn the entire country into a gun free zone. And no, I don't think for a minute they think for a minute that that's actually going to stop spree shootings. They know good-and-stinking well, it won't. They need dead spree shooting victims. As a matter of fact, one of them recently spoke out from Raleigh, North Carolina said he felt like he had been used by local leaders, NAACP leaders and the gun control groups. And here's an article from the blaze by Candice Hathaway, she said the fiance of a woman killed during a shooting in Raleigh, North Carolina said he felt the city sponsored vigil held over the weekend was too politically charged. He accused local officials of exploiting the grieving loved ones attending the event and a political stunt to push for restrictive gun laws. As reported by WRAL, "On Sunday, the city hosted an event to honor the memories of those lost in a recent shooting." (Royce comments) At least that was their cover story,... "that killed five people injured two state leaders, local leaders and community members attended the vigil sponsored by..." (ready for this?) "the NAACP and Moms Demand Action and advocacy group fighting for stricter gun laws." That's exactly what they are. Yes, they're pro infringement, anti-rights, and they need people like Rob Steele, who was the person in attendance there."His fiancee, Mary Marshall was killed in that attack on October 13. The two were set to get married, as a matter of fact, this coming Saturday. Mr. Steele said 'I'm not naive. I knew there would be some political conversation but the event was supposed to be about the victims about healing. It wasn't supposed to be a majority of gun control and gun violence. In other words, the discussion about it.'""Steel stated that he wanted the event to be about honoring the memory of his fiancee, Miss Marshall, and the four other victims; officer Gabrielle Torres. James Thompson, Nicole Connors and Susan Karnatz. Before agreeing to speak at the memorial, Steele said he asked major Maryann Baldwin, who is currently running for reelection, if the event would turn into political theater. Steele said 'I asked the major point blank, Is this a political stunt because you're up for reelection? She replied, absolutely not." Well, of course, she's gonna say that, she wouldn't admit it. She's just not as honest as her fellow Democrat communist from New Jersey, Mr. Danielson. "Mr. Steel said either the mayor did not know what the people she partnered with were planning or she misled me, if she knew that she lied to me. And if she didn't know, then why?" (or should I say why not? Why did she not know?) "Steel stated that most of the speakers talked at length about gun control."(Royce comments) Remember, I told you they have to have victims to drive the drum beat for disarmament. "Steele also expressed disappointment over the speech given by Gerald Givens, the president of the Raleigh Apex NAACP. He stated that he was so upset by Givens comments that he left the memorial early. Mr. Givens said on Sunday at that memorial, "You can join the Raleigh-Apex NAACP. If just 100 of you join our branch today, we will become the largest in the state." Is this a membership drive for the NAACP, Mr. Givens, or was this a memorial for victims? Like, Ms.(Royce exclaims at his own forgetfullness) ...for Pete's sake,... Miss Marshall. Was it for her and the other victims? Yeah, that was a rhetorical question, of course. Because was obviously not. This was trotting out people like Mr. Steele, exploiting his grief and the grief of the others there who were grieving their loved ones, and using it for political fodder, using it as a lever against the rights of other Americans. You people are so absolutely disgusting. You make me want to vomit. As a matter of fact, Mr. Steele wanted to vomit. "He said, I got sick to my stomach. I felt like I had been used." Yeah, well, you were you. You were used Mr. Steele, you were used by people who don't give a flaming damn about you either. You know what Mr. Steele also said? He said neither he nor his fiance would have ever advocated for stricter gun control laws. So you can imagine how that felt to be there at this so-called Memorial, and being used as a political prop. Mr. Steele said,"I don't want to be a pawn, and I don't want Mary's memory to be a pawn". I don't blame you, Mr. Steele. But that's exactly what you were used for. You were used as a pawn. And what's worse is your deceased fiance was used as a pawn as well as the other five victim, four victims I'm sorry, as well as the other two wounded as well as their grieving loved ones. You are all nothing but political props to increase the membership for the NAACP, and to try to bring about more gun control so that more of these very types of shootings can happen. I'm with you, Mr. Steele. I'm sick to my stomach just reading about this. That's gonna do it for this edition of the shooting straight radio podcast. You know what I'm going to say now, right? Yes, do your duty and stay in contact with your representatives let them know they'll be held accountable. You also let the criminals in your area know that they'll be held accountable, or don't let them know, carry your gun concealed. If you carry it openly, carry it openly but carry one!
